BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Slightly domed dial plate. Inscribed ’R & J Beck, 62, Cornhill, London’. IIII - XII - IIII - VIII from outside, with noon gap and 30, 15 and 5 minutes divisions. EOT scale. 8-point compass rose. Decorative gnomon engraved witl Longitude 2 43 W, Longitude 52 28 N. Carved sandstone pedestal on two-stepped octagonal base. Carries motto ’Sicut umbra vita fugit’.
