BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Bedfordshire

The dial has aligned numerals IV - XII - IV - VIII, read from outside, with a noon gap and no subdivisions. The hour lines run to a small undrawn circle around the gnomon root, which is at the centre of the circular dial plate. The dial stands on a square sectioned plinth on a square base.
