BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Singleton

Circular gnomon hole in the centre of the square dial plate. Full length hour lines with the noon line extended vertically. Upright numerals VI, VII, VIII, XI, X, IX, IIX, I, II, III, IIII, V, IV ! No subdivisions. Set in the gable of the flint south wall of the S porch (entrance is in the E wall of the porch). Mentioned in the Guide Book as a Mass dial - possibly qualifies as a transitional?
