BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints Church, Catfield

The dial is located above the south porch. It has upright numerals VI - XII - IV - V, with hour lines to a circle around the gnomon root. The dial has a low pointed arch top, above a wooden section cut to three smaller arches, pointed at the sides, round in the centre. The motto ’REMEMBER ETERNITY’ runs across the top. There are pillars at the sides, surmounted by the dates 1803 (made) and 1967 (restored by Rev B M Goodwins), and the dial had been very well restored again not long before 2019. The numerals and motto are painted white, the arch, lines and surrounds a light blue. The bar gnomon has a horizontal bar strut, itself having a side-ways support bow.
