BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Carleton Forehoe

The top of the dial has a semicircular arch, inset; and the whole is surrounded by a metal strip, perhaps enclosing woodwork on which the dial is mounted. The plate is painted blue, with white or lighter blue furniture. Upright numerals VII - XII - IIII - V, with short hour lines to tall semicircular-topped rectangle around gnomon root, and half and quarter hour marks. Gnomon has a scrolled tip and single support strut. The dial is badly obscured by trees for most times. Located above south porch.
