BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Sun face at centre with 8 points, NSEW marked. Arabic numerals 4 - 12 - 8, from outside, with noon gap. Hour lines, and half, quarter and eighth divisions. Around the edge ’Turn your face to the sun and the shadows will fall behind you’. Gothic style octagonal plinth. Located in rose garden to NW side of church.
