BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sundial Cottage, North Newington

Above the front doorway of the house is a square stone vertical dial set into the brick wall. Across the top are the initials P,C, and the date 1713. The morning hours 6am to 11am are shown in Arabic numerals, there is a cross at noon and the remaining hours I - VI are in Roman numerals. The sheet iron gnomon has a curved lower edge.
