BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Manor House, North Newington

Only the hour lines are visible on this stone dial whichi set into the gable end of the house. It has a curved top and is supported by a shallow corbel beneath. The iron gnomon is in good enough condition to make one think it could be a replacement. The house dates from the 1640s and it is possible that the dial comes from the same period.
