BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

On the summer face ’British Summer Time’; on the winter face (or on the plinth?) ’Greenwich Mean Time’. Fish design on the top of the plinth, and ’Neither can the wave that has passed by be recalled - nor the hour which has passed return again’. Arabic numerals; half hours marked on the summer face only. Large rectangular plinth is made from cast GRC (glass reinforced concrete). The dial was made by Tim Chalk of Chalk Works, Edinburgh.
