BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Mary Magdalene, Yarm

Across the top ’Erecetd 1741 Refaced 1868’. Aligned numerals VI - XII - IIII - V, with hour lines to small semi-circle around the gnomon root, and half hour markers. New steel gnomon fixed with four screws. The dial rests on the key-stone of the arch of the South door.
