BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Across the top ’THE GOLDEN THREADS OF TIME WEAVE SUCH BEAUTIOUS (sic) PICTURES OF THE MIND AND EYE’. Below the origin of the gnomon ’MMVII’. Lower centre ’Trinity Manor’, and under that ’Latitude North 49 14 38 ... South Declining 7 East ... Longitude West 002 05 24’. Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - V, with half and quarter hour marks. The gnomon is a rod terminating in a flat shield pierced with 9 holes, based on the arms of the St Martin family and now the badge of the Manor.
