BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Much foliage engraving. Death’s head to west of gnomon, scythe to east (gnomon intrudes on shaft). Motto: ’As the long houres do pass awaye so doth the life of man decay’ ’1632’. ’Long liffe ye King Charles’. Aligned numerals, from outside, IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, 30 and 15 minute divisions. This is an example of dial No 4208 from the Pearson Page range probably c 1910.
