BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church (2), Leire

The dial is fitted against the south-east buttress of the tower, at the junction with the nave, and held in place with iron dog-nails. It is canted out slightly on the right hand side. It has upright Arabic numerals for 6am to 6pm, with full length hour lines, and half hour diamonds and quarter hour dots in an arc from 6 to 6. The Churchwardens’ Account Books show that it was installed on 8th May 1801, at a cost of £1 15s 6d, paid to William Langton.
