BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Aligned numerals IV - XII - IV - VIII, with no hour lines or subdivisions. 8-point compass rose at the centre. Mounted on a pyramidally topped stand, with information boards, approx 1350 high. Surrounded by high buildings and probably shaded for most of the day.
