A 20th century cast bronze horizontal dial carries the spurious date 1767 and the motto ’Let others tell of storms and showers, I only count the sunny hours’. It is 200mm in diameter and shows the hours in Arabic numerals from 4am to 8pm undivided. In the centre is a sun face surrounded by an 8-point compass rose. The dial is mounted on a baluster pedestal topped by a square mount stone.
