BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Well House, Kencot

On the rear lawn of the house is a modern cast brass octagonal horizontal sundial measuring 300mm across. It rests on a circular mount stone supported by a concrete baluster pedestal. It has the usual hours IV - VIII undivided and in the centre is an 8-point compass rose. The blue dial plate contrasts with the uncoloured brass gnomon.
