BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

This bronze horizontal dial is a memorial to Richard George, Royal Berkshire Regiment, 1920 - 1941. Dial inscribed ’FAITHFUL BELOW HE DID HIS DUTY’. Circle around gnomon foot and another one towards noon. It shows the hours IV - VIII from outside, with split noon divided into halves and quarters. ’S’ support to bar gnomon (loose and detached at March 2011).
