BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

This bronze horizontal dial shows the hours IIII - VII (using XII for noon) divided into halves and quarters. The aligned numerals are read from outside the chapter ring and there is a split noon line. Motto reads ’Sunny Hours’. Pedestal a rough cast circular concrete cylinder with thick mount stone and base. The dial measures 250mm in diameter and dates from 1949.
