BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

Horizontal dial on baluster pedestal. Aligned numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII from inside, with outer scale delineated to 5 mins, inner scale to 7.5 mins. 8-point compass rose with 4 cardinal points labelled. Rose decorations in the corners, with initials RP in Southeast corner. Replacement brass gnomon designed and fitted by Harriet James. Thought to have come from Hampton, near Swindon.
