BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Public Library, Ashby-de-la-Zouch

The dial is near the entrance to the library. It was designed by Ashby Civic Society, and made by Greg Budworth, Blacksmith, Staunton Harold. Iron one and two x 1/2 ring armillary, with hour ring and date engraved on attached brass strips. Roman numerals 6am to 6pm using IV. Arrow gnomon. 580 mm square brick plinth topped with stone slab, 920 high overall.
