BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Frogmore House (3), Windsor

Painted on stone, within a frame, this vertical dial at the entrance to the stables matches a clock in the same colours. It has a blue background with numerals painted in gold and time divisions painted in black. It shows the hours V - IIII divided into halves and quarters. The thin rod gnomon has a thicker support and the gnomon root is surrounded by a tall rectangle.
