BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Berkshire

Memorial dial. IV - XII - IV - VII (sic), from inside, with hour and half hour lines. 8-point compass rose, labelled only to N etc. Gnomon bent. At the south ’Tempus fugit’. Mounted on a small stone bowl in the centre of a large hexagonal bird bath supported by a circular sectioned pillar, which is inscribed with 21 names. The base is inscribed ’1939 - 1945’, and the face of the bird bath ’ We will remember them’.
