BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

This good horizontal brass sundial on a baluster style stone pedestal stands in the "Old English Rose Garden". It reads the hours from 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 7.5, 5 and 1 minute divisions. A labelled 16-point compass rose is inscribed at the centre of the dial and the maker’s name, C LINCOLN / LONDON is also shown.
