BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints Church, Hethel

The dial was made as an ’A’ Level project at Wymondham College. It has an arched top with ’A new dawn after every sunset’, over a tree with initials ’AL’ (representing an ancient nearby hawthorn tree). The date 2000 spans the tree trunk. There is an eclipse image of the moon over the sun with rays to the left side of the dial plate, and three meshed cogs to the right, representing Hethel Engineerining Lotus cars. The upright numerals are VIII - XII - IIII only, with full length hour lines. There are ornamental stalk and leaf engravings to the left and right sides of the dial plate. All furniture is engraved, with a black infill which is falling out with time, leaving white lines. The gnomon support is cut out in the image of a plough.
