BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Merseyside

The original is held indoors. A replica, in poor condition, is on display in the garden. Hours IIII - XII - VIII. Split noon with ’HS’ in gap. Transversals in outer ring. Henry Sephton designed and built Ince Blundell Hall, 1720-1750. Ref: BSS Bulletin 22(iii) Sept 2010, pp 48-52.
