BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of Ste Marguerite de la Foret, Le Bourg

This ancient and worn sundial can be found inside the church (when open) in a niche in the south wall. It is believed to be the dial which was formerly near the porch on the south wall of the church and removed in 1922 when the vestry was built. It seems to have been refixed to a property about 500m away from where it was removed in 2006 and subsequently donated to the church. There is no gnomon. The hour lines are not numbered and several of them are double lines. Traces of a circular decoration can be seen around the hole for the gnomon.
