BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Fragments of rectangular dial plate with circular arc chapter ring containing Gothic Roman numerals VI - VI. Star with six wavy points at centre, with hole for (horizontal?) missing gnomon. Discovered during archaeological excavations near the S door of the Priory, which dates from 1114 to 1532. The location coordinates are those of Lihou Priory, not of its present position in the museum. Ref Guernsey Sundials, David & Dorothy Le Conte, p25, La Société Guernesiaise, Guernsey 2004.
