BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Dial House, Downham Market

Hour lines to wide circular arc around gnomon root, and short half-hour lines outwards from the arc. Upright numerals (which appear to be separate ’stick-on’ pieces) VIII - XII - IV - V. Noon does not appear to be vertical, and seems too far off to be longitude allowance. Long thin rod gnomon with small double-hook tip, supported by scrolled ’S’ with seven short double-hook ornaments. Diagonal lines to gnomon root form upper boundary of dial outer border. Located on gable end.
