BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Square stone plate, with raised circular centre, set into stonework above the west entrance of the tower. Below it is another square stone plate, with raised moulded surround, inscribed ’Take heed, watch / and pray for ye / know not when / the time is / S MAR 13.33’.
