BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial House, Elton

The clue is in the name; Dial House on Middle Street is the proud bearer of this very nice vertical declining dial. The initials R and G could be the maker or first owner, but there is no doubting the date of 1727 as this dial is clear to read and in good condition.
