BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Pickhurst Junior School, Bromley

The dial is about 500 yards east of the Greenwich meridian. A simple 8-pointed star-symbol, on the meridian N of XII, indicates the direction of True North and also represents Polaris. The ’midnight’ hour circle contains the date ’AD. 2000’. Numerals VI IX XII III VI. The dimensions stated are for the ellipse. The brickwork has diameter 3300.
