BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Tan y Coed, Llanasa

The dial is mounted on a large circular stone of aproximately 600mm diameter with a decorated rim. The whole is mounted on a cylindrical column. The dial carries a motto and an 8 point compass rose. Hours are marked by Roman numerals from 4am - 8pm but using IIII to denote the 4 o’clock position.
