BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

A cast bronze horizontal dial shows the hours 4am - 8pm divided into halves and quarters, in Arabic numerals. In the centre is a sun face surrounded by an 8-point compass rose. The gnomon tip is bent backwards. The dial carries the motto ’I only count your sunny hours.’ It is mounted on a wooden base painted green.
