BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Orchardene, Brize Norton

This circular cast bronze horizontal dial on the path to the rear garden shows the customary hours IV - VIII and has an 8-point compass rose in the centre together with the motto ’Sunny Hours’. It stands on a decorated circular pillar topped by a circular mounting stone marked N, E, S, W round the perimeter.
