BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Guernsey

Kept inside the house. Inscribed ’Marchant Fecit 1714’ (possibly ’Le Marchant’, but the corner of the stone is broken). Le Marchant is a Guernsey name. Initials ’PCT’ are also reported. The S face has declination lines and also Babylonian hour lines (hours from sunrise). Upright but aligned numerals VI - IIII - VI (noon damaged). The E face has Arabic numerals 4 - 10, with solstice and equinox lines, and azimuth lines labelled with letters E, S nas N in a way that I cannot decipher. The W face not photographed. An interesting dial that deserves further study.
