BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Guernsey

The dial is high on the granite wall of the house, mounted on a lead-covered triangular section box to cant it out about 45 degrees from the wall, though the wall itself declines about 15 W of S. The gnomon is mounted upside down in the photo but the owner intends to correct this. Well known design, by Pearson Page (#4212), with clerical figures in archways above and supported Coat of Arms in the centre. Arabic numerlas 6 - 12 - 6., with arrow hour lines.
