BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Stowell Park (4), Stowell

Aligned numerals IIII - XI and I - IIII - VIII (noon not marked). Unusually broad gnomon, by additional 10mm plate forming the top style edges, and pointed at the top. Divided to 30, 15, 10 and 5 mins, with additional transversals for minutes. Inscribed ’51.85N 1.8W’, ’Silas Higgon fecit’, and ’To Dad on his birthday from ...’. EOT ring. Baluster pedestal with floral lower part and spiral decorated upper part.
