BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas

The dial is formed by slits in the concentric walls of a War Memorial, and these allow the passage of sunlight at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Wording on the edge of the slit carries this information.
