BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Millcombe House, Lundy

The customary hours IV-VIII are shown on this brass horizontal dial and they are divided down to 10 and 2 minute intervals. Eight compass directions are marked but without a compass rose. Five narrow rings on the dial plate show the indecipherable remains of script which could possibly have been an Equation of Time scale. The dial is spported by a fluted Doric style cast-iron column.
