BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Katherine’s Church, Winterbourne Bassett

This very early scientific dial dial is high on a quoin on the south side. The incised lines - of variable width and some quite deep (or less eroded) - have upright Roman numerals from VII round to VI. The vertical - horizontal - vertical numeral placement works well. The noon cross is very clear. Gnomon is probably a replacement.
