BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dorset

The dial on the Beckett Room lawn was presented in summer 2004 as a leaving gift by the parents of three School House boys: Simon Gosling, George Daubeny and Michael Pope. It is inscribed with the boys’ surnames and the words ‘Carpe Diem’. It is a good commercial dial, standing on a low stone pedestal estd 700 high, near steps to the east end of the Chapel.
