BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Kailzie Gardens, Peebles

Roman hours 4am - 8pm, from outside, using IIII. Simple bar gnomon with ’S’ support. Looks to be a good dial with finely divided scales, probably with EOT, but hard to tell from photos. More information requested. Decorated bottle pedestal on a square base on three wide octagonal steps, the lowest two of York stone. Ref: Country Life 2007 Issue 50, Page 58, ID:1000542600
