BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

Replaces a dial stolen in 1995. This one carries a labelled 16-point compass rose, and an EOT graph. Inscribed ’Conoisseur / Sundials / Lat 52 30 N’, but no attempt has been made to wedge it up to read corectly at 54 15 N.
