BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Inscribed ’A. D. 1900 / AT BECKFOOT HERE AMID THE FLOWERS / I RECKON NONE BUT SUNNY HOURS / - BAMPTON - / In the County of Westmorland’. 8-point labelled compass rose, EOT ring, much overall foliage engraved. Numerals IIII - noon - IIII - VIII, from outside, with noon actually shown as X(gap)I. Intervals 30, 15, 10 and 5 minutes. A very sturdy bulbous plinth of red sandstone on two steps.
