BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cheshire

A good modern dial in very good condition. V - XII - IIII - VIII, read from inside, with 30, 15 and 5 minute divisions. Inscribed ’AD 2002 Christ Church Crowton’, 53 15 59 N’ and ’2 37 54 W’. Labelled 16-point compass rose, Sun. Solid gnomon plate notched down vertical N side.
