This ground level horizontal dial dating from 2010 can be seen outside the garden centre. It is about 3 metres in diameter and constructed with brick pavers and painted furniture. It shows the hours from 7am to 5pm divided into quarters. There is a noon gap to compensate for the width of the gnomon It also has declination lines for solstices and equinoxes and the ca2200mm high gnomon has the necessary nodus which enables these to be used.
