BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Britius Church, Brize Norton

Rectangular vertical south-facing dial on the bell-cote on top of the church. The dial appears heavily encrusted with lichens except where copper has leached from the gnomon. Consequently, the hour lines are very hard to distinguish. There are upright Arabic numerals, of which only 10, 11, 12, 1, 2 are visible. The dial plate froms part of the stonework of the sanctus bell-cote, above the meeting point of the nave and chancel.
