BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cambridgeshire

The dial is in the gardens by the main entrance to the Crematorium building. In the centre of the dial face is an 8-point compass. The Roman numerals run from 4am to 8pm with noon as XII and 4 as IIII. The numbers are to be read as from inside the dial. There is a noon gap and 30, 15 and 5-minute divisions. Knuckle-duster pattern gnomon. Motto at the south side ’Time flies’
