BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Village hall, Iford

A slate or grey metal dial above ground floor windows. Hour lines to semicircle around root of solid gnomon, and half hour lines. Upright Arabic numerals 5 - 12 -3. Along the top ’TIME IS LIFE - SPEND IT WISELY’, and along the bottom ’IFORD & SWANSBOROUGH JULY 2001’. Cloud decoration in top right space. The hall is positioned on the Greenwich meridian line, and there is a marker in the roadside wall opposite.
