BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Cuthbert’s Church (2), Widworthy

A first glance at this stone sundial on the church wall reveals the 6pm hour line looking at you like a raised eyebrow. The dial has upright Arabic numerals 7 - 6. Full length hour lines but all of them suspect. Gnomon vertical. The dial is about 400mm square.
